If you are born in a country like mine, you probably would like to step out to explore and see for yourself what the rest of the world is doing. I started travelling with friends during my Secondary/ Middle school years and since then, the travel bug has caught on.
I studied and work part-time since high school so that 1) I could sustain my own lifestyle; 2) I love teaching (I gave tuition); and 3) I need the money for travelling.
So in my 20s, I told myself that I would strive to explore most of the Asian countries (SEA included) as these places are relatively more affordable for me and well, of course, I should know my neighbours better, right?
When I approached my 30s and with more disposable income, I decided that it was time for Europe and the first stops were Turkey and Greece and subsequently, the more well known cities like London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam.
I am still travelling and living in the States provided more opporunity for this passion to grow!
