There was much hype about this new wholesome market located at The Grandstand and I finally made my way there long after its opening.
So, I thought it would be a market that is in the open, much like the farmers’ markets that I know. It isn’t, apparently. This market comes with a shelter.
It was in the afternoon that I went with my friends and thankfully, there wasn’t a lot of people. Business was tardy and the scene rather lifeless, far from what I have expected. The fact that the whole place is rather dark (dim) doesn’t help.
So, you have retailers such as cafes, organic foodstores, florists in the premise. My friends and I settled for our teatime at Dutch Colony Coffee Co. for the much-needed caffeine.
So, there you have it. Nothing too exciting at this place but I love the quirky quotes on the wall though.
Life is like an onion. You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep.
