Blessed Christmas

This year’s Christmas was spent rather differently from previous years. For one, there is someone whom I can share this season with and on top of that, his family.

So, after Christmas service, it was off to meet Ken’s side of the big family. omg! There were so many of them and they were only cousins; I have only met a small fraction of the entire family! There was a delicious spread of home-cooked food and by the end of it, I was on the verge of throwing up…the amount of food! Gosh!

For Christmas, I decided to help out at ex-CG’s  Christmas party by having a story-telling session for the kids while the adults had their own programme. When I suggested this to FY, I was actualy challenging myself to see if I could do a good job of it as I was out of action for 2 years already. It was apprehension taking over until I rationalised with myself that it will be to His glory at the end of the day and I just need to be willing to let Him use me.

And it was done thus fulfilling my #11. Perform a storytelling session for kids. Thank God for Ken who gave me suggestions and helped me during the story-telling.

Wonderful Christmas, meaningful one. At the end of it, we hope and pray that people know that He is the reason for the season.

Blessed Christmas.
